I brought this Biketek filler cap recently off ebay basically because I was interested and it was cheap. It was advertised as from a 600SS, but I've since found it can't be. It's 114mm OD instead of the 105mm that all the older Ducati ones I have are. It's got 201 marked on the back, but I can't find a reference to that online. The mounting bolt spacing is very similar but a just a slightly bigger PCD, and it has the 2 dummy bolts like an SS/Monster one. Does anyone have any idea what it could be off so I can put it back on Ebay?
Looks very similar to one I had on a Triumph 675 Daytona. If so should also fit the Street Triple 675. EDIT. Just checked a photo and it’s different. Sorry.
Yes of course, but I'm interested now, and it really owes me very little. Finding out what it should fit, probably using the 201 part number, is a challenge, and a far more satisfying exercise than just giving up and sending it back. That would be the dull and boring option.
