You’re right Chris. I was back in town today with another friend, celebrating his 60th. Was a great day.
Spent all day on MRA plotting routes for upcoming Wales and Luxembourg trips. Making sure no mistakes, all waypoints exactly on the right sides of the road etc. Sorting fuel and refreshments stops. Will be more than several riding and it all falls on me to organise. Love it really.
not preaching, but harder to lose, the older you get plus you slowly realise that you are relying on exercise to "rescue you" when overweight, but with health issues, it's not a guaranteed option. I just lost 3 kilograms and it felt like a trip to the moon and back, and took over 3 weeks.
I know it's a sale which'd help clear a space for my tractor, but my concerns are payment first before it departs my company, but also if he doesn't like it i could be in trouble moaning about you didn't mention this or that.
I find it's impossible selling stuff now, so BIG WAKE-UP ALERT to self - Be 10 times more cautious about buying anything.
not telling you how to suck eggs, but are you taking it to him merely to show it to him/demonstrate it to him? £&@# that for a game of soldiers, I think he needs to put some sort of deposit down even if it's just to cover your fuel before you even set off, but that's just me. I know it's a catch 22, but a buyer has to show some commitment, who can afford to do this all day?
That’s good going Chris to lose that, I’ve started to not eat chocolate as that’s my vice these days. The exercise is to quicken the weight lose. I won’t make the error of relying on exercise alone, more a change of habits which is mostly eating far too much chocolate.
I'd someone else on the phone 40 odd minutes ago making enquires about it who's a little closer to me, i'll let the other buyer know that it's my house my rules in the most gentle way possible without upsetting him...............rock up and view / make sure your happy before you pay me my asking price, as he's the first in the queue.
Yes i did have a third but i didn't like the sound of him, so rejected him two weeks ago. Let's see what happens, until the money's in my hands there's no sale.
Went to the gym this morning, and did a 2k swim. That’s 1800 calories down. Will do the same tomorrow and Friday. Went to Waitrose to pick up the last of the Christmas food just now, and was expecting it to be utter chaos, but it was surprisingly calm.
The world has gone stark staring mad, I needed a bottle of milk, walked round to the local Tesco Metro and there were customers queuing out of the door, waiting to shop. I’m off down the pub Andy
