  9. The course is frankly less interesting than other hill climb courses such as Prescott and Wiscombe (which I have also ridden).

The paddock at Shelsley is far better provided and convenient.

Shelsley has its uniquely long tradition in its favour.

    Ducati Multistrada 1200.

  12. Have been a few times for car events. My mate Carl, rides a 996, now does hill climb in his fathers car. A Hardy Special, built in 1928; a supercharged, methanol burning, JAP engined cigar tube... Here he's valiantly trying to protect the bodywork...

  13. 1928... amazing that a car that's almost 100 years old is (was) fit to race!!!

  14. Still in action and being used as Hardy intended, a minor 'blip'. His father gave up hill climb after a major accident where he was ejected from the car. Wandered around in a state of denial for several days with a broken leg, he's a retired GP :rolleyes:o_O:D

  16. Here's a 6 wheeled Tyrell I filmed at Shelsley 24 years ago?
I was pelted with hot rubber flying off the tyres... good fun!

  17. Grew up not far from there, went for many years, was the first racing I experienced up close. In those days (80s) there were loads of home made specials, I remember seeing a rover v8 turbo charged Morris Minor going up the hill along with list of Imp based motors. Very fond memories of the place.

A quick search on YT and this might be the v8

    and down a rabbit hole

  19. I’m being a bit dumb and can’t see where you apply to get an entry ticket, can you point in the right direction?
