Picked it up today. Sounds ace, needs a service with belts. Can anyone recommend where to get belts/ service items from please?
If you want genuine parts from an authorised dealer, I agree with @Monsterped, IMO, you can’t do better than Craig at Moto Rapido. That said, if you would prefer your budget not to be stretched that far, eBay is probably your best friend. Not sure if the US outfit, California Cycleworks do belts for that generation of Ducati but there is a UK based stockist, Exactfit, you can ask. Andy
I use exact fit for belts Great service and reasonable price. Moto Rapido for genuine parts. Wemoto for pattern parts. Tayna for batteries and Opie Oils for the runny stuff.
I'm not sure how many times I have to post this before everyone finally believes that Yellow ones are faster. Yellow has a Higher(Faster) Frequency than Red allowing Yellow Ducatis to attain higher speeds than Red ones. As well as higher energy levels giving faster acceleration. It's lower Wavelength allows it to travel further. The definitive proof: .
Alternatively, the late, great Eddie Jordan would attest that being the fastest in a yellow machine is an extremely rare thing, so much so that he achieved it only 3 times in years of competition... During the same period team Red won almost every race and all championships! Yellow car, pictured attempting to gain speed by driving downhill
You're right of course, it was only two cars for nine years (1996 until 2005). Certainly not long enough for yellow to achieve 4 wins... LOL!
