I bought a 996R from the same dealer that are selling this a few years back. I also had a few Qs about its history that they couldn't answer. i trawled through the paperwork for the bike when i was in the showroom and dug out the previous owners details (and those for the guy they were selling it for) and then phoned him directly. might help, or at least help put your mind at rest, speaking to any previous owners??
Can you find another one with all the boxes ticked for £60k ? Can you find a better option than a reduced asking price , so lets say £55k ? For me those answers would tell me what i would do. Personally i would want the very best model i can get with a price to match so £65k with full paperwork is for me better. Time will always allow you to find others even though sometimes you feel different.
