Does It Have A Fuel Light?

  1. Hi, quick question or maybe a quick daft question.
    Do these bike have a fuel light?
     
  2. Yes they do. The one on my SL is quite bright , but the one on my SS is easy to miss if it's a bright day .

  3. low level fuel light not always the most reliable indicator as the fuel level sender can be temperamental at best.

  5. You can upgrade the light with a 2w bulb. Standard is 1.2w. Which makes it more visible. Or led as I've done. Even brighter

  7. It's a 286 bulb, you can get them ebay or any lighting place

  10. Roughly how many miles per fill ups? My new one is about 150 miles
     
  11. Mine was around 122 but would fill up at 100 if possible

  12. I replaced the level sensor after the previous one failed, stranding me. . It now works but I prefer to use the trip meter. I generally fill up around 130 miles-ish .
