  1. Yeah, I must admit… :rolleyes::laughing:

    What threw me off, to be honest, is the original post on Ducati.ms that was about a « Tamburini tribute » 1993 916, spec’d as an SP… Which is pretty different from Massimo’s early prototypes. We were definitely digging the wrong way…

  2. If you were confused before…

    That carbon doesn’t look like original Ducati.

  3. "So Ian, how many SP's were made in 1994?"

    "No idea."

  4. I looked at his website. Some of the prices shown (many are POA) actually made my eyes bleed. :astonished::joy::joy::joy:

  5. Which tells you just how meaningless his provenance is. Makes nice annuals tho ;)

  6. I’m upset that when I bought my monoposto from new nobody asked me where I wanted it built.

  7. With all due respect to Ian F. incredible documentation work, digging into Ducati’s archives and writing incredible books on them motorcycles, who in their right mind would go to him to authenticate a Ducati instead of talking to Ducati themselves ?!

    :rolleyes:

    It really sounds like he’s becoming the « Kevin Marty » of Ducatis. Classic Ford enthusiasts will know what I mean.
