  1. what do you guys think of these rim decals, cant make my mind up whether I like them or not after fitting one side today!
secondly I want to fit the original bash guard as mine has the touratech enduro pack fitted and although I had it powder coated black it looks a bit chunky to me whereas the original have the nice slots in the side of them and think they look better, will it be a straight swap if I get hold of the original bash guard?

  5. The original bash guard is in three pieces, middle, left and right. If you want to continue with the black theme the ones from the Pikes Peak version are already that colour and, according to the parts listing are the same, somewhat salty, price as the silver ones. No idea on availability though.

  6. Cheers guys mixed ideas on the rim decals then, I’m not sure myself then shown the wife and she said they look good
Will see how I go with them when I finally get it back out in spring, those pink panties are one my kids t shirt, if they was the wife’s undies I’d be sniffing them and not using them as rags
Put the multi back under cover now anyway, it’s had 5 mins today and that will do until weather brightens up.
This is my winter ride although I say that and still ride it all year round IMG_8697.jpeg

  10. Was looking at those sort of designs but didn’t want writing, I’m thinking I may go for a thinner rim tape as this is a thick line which is making it stand out a lot more!!

  11. The rim tapes look fine to me. Wouldn't bother on mine as it's just something else to keep (relatively) clean but there you go.

  15. They will be coming off without too much interaction relatively soonish anyway, once you've ridden it and cleaned it a few times. They always do...........

  17. Personally, I'm not a fan of rim tape. I feel it's something that belongs on kids bikes so I vote no.
