sounds like you will have already seen "The Substance" ? it's a bit daft but stuck with it to the end.
Half way thru Treasure on Prime. Stephen Fry as a Jewish polish dad escorting his American daughter back to Poland as she wants to see her routes. Nice story, some touching stuff, reluctant reminding of a past he wants to forget, enjoyable so far…. And upsetting and unsettling as it builds.
Mufasa; a prequel to The Lion King, but CGI’d to look like real life rather than a cartoon. Stunning CGI and a good story, we both enjoyed it. A Complete Unknown; a Bob Dylan biopic. Superb performances by Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez and Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan, both of whom learned to sing and play guitar for their parts. Enjoyable and informative, but it did nothing to change my opinion of him; if anything it reinforced it.
Over hyped, average talent in a brooding moody male diva package. Like Liam Gallagher but with guitar not maracas
