I collect any pics of SXV's (ive got that one) for a bit of inspiration....plan is to build 2 sets of body work....2x full black sets - one set in perfect nick that i can keep in raw black as it were. And a second black set that i can lay sticker kits on....thats the plan anyway..!
Stealth mirrors have arrived. Oh - great delivery time. Ordered on the 23rd and got here today. Didnt get fucked for any import tax either. Including the carrige 87quid delivered.
Must confess i like my single exit one thats hidden under the seat....less is more for me! Stealth mirrors fitted today....picked up a black rear sidepanel from Fowlers yesterday.
Each to their own, I just like the symmetry of twin pipes. I believe Fowlers are the main agents for Aprilia parts in the UK. From memory I ordered some parts from a dealer in Manchester but they had to come from Fowlers. Hopefully you can find the rest of the panels in the correct colour. Picked up a Red front mudguard for my Sons SM over the Xmas break, I just keep looking for body panels every time I think to.
Ah - funny that - there was a reseller on ebay that put a brand new red mudguard up (so i bought that!) - im kinda collecting black and red bits as i can mix and match them....as i say if i can get a nice set of black panels to just keep black and then a not so good set that i can whack a sticker kit on is the plan (and of course some random red bits)
Looks great. Want one myself now. From that angle it reminds me of the Husky Nuda,a bike I almost bought and still regret not doing so. Waiting in anticipation of the first ride.
Absolutely - just waiting for the good weather now. This is the first bike ive ever bought that ive not had a go on straight away (as it came back in pieces) but, i dont mind as its so fucking badass looking im just happy staring at it...!
How on earth did you get away with mounting the number plate and rear light there? It looks mint, proper hooligans tool ;-)
Well, the "whether i got away with it or not" remains to be seen but its staying there for the foresable.! It is, yes, i think its the most hooligan thing ive ever owned.
Yeah - im probably gonna get some for my old mans 400/4 - less is more for me...the less sticky-outy things the better...
I always hankered after a Husky Nuda but never bought one. A decent one goes for good money these days.
