I thought I had it saved in my Amazon list and was going to post the link for you, but I couldn’t see it there. I did see and order one of these Viking drinking horn mugs though.
I went to High School in the UK, the 3 Tier school system does exist in the UK in rural areas, but they are being slowly phased out and switching to the 2 tier system which is a great shame IMO.
Well, everywhere down south (mid eighties) was a comprehensive....it was, infants school, junior school, comprehensive school (state school) - just for clarification...im talking about...then...not now...but now "Americanised" @Zhed46
Edinburgh high school opened in 1100 something. if i was there when it opened and was still a pupil, i would still need google to tell me how to spell it. not "it" but Edinburgh. chortle.
High School I went to was so named at least as far back as the 1950s as my parents and aunts and uncles went there.
Not sure I agree there. What you’re referring to as comprehensive is secondary. The infant and junior years are primary. Secondary schools can be grammar or comprehensive, with the latter being the majority are these days.
Transitioning (not just in the gender sense). Where "more" or "less", such as more quickly rather than quicker or faster. Use of plural when referring to institutions, for example "the Met Police are", when the Met Police is a police force (singular).
What happened to 'Technical High Schools' ? That's what mine was in Broadstairs (Dane Court). 11 to 17 yo.. Boys & Girls schools were segregated too.
