Yes - thank you That one seems to have totted up circa 18k miles when taking into account the previous km speedo
There were alot of parallel imports in the early '00's. Bought a new 748E in 2001as a parallel , great bike.
My maths is terrible this morning but would it not be circa 13,766 miles? 7900km (4908 miles) on the original speedo & then 8858 on the current speedo, equalling 13,766 miles? Either way, good question re: km on a 2002 bike unless an import?
4908 + 3401 from service record plus a bit single last service. The mph speedo was almost certainly used when it was put on.
Yes - you're correct as I was taking the mileage from the advert text description & then adding the KM! The thought of a used speedo doesn't fill me with great confidence Hoping someone on here may know a little about the bike

you need to tell people more details about exactly what you want - budget price/condition/colour etc if you want the most help!
sorry to be a pain, but you need to put a "ballpark" price, this bit is almost the most important bit. I could put an advert on here that says "wanted 748, but it must be a bargain price!"
I saw that Brands Hatch one and wonder what that’s all about - can’t be ‘official’ can it? Google didn’t turn up much. @Bowjangles there is a nice looking R on eBay cor C£10k I wish I had more money!
I've messaged the seller for more info. The pillion seat is half the reason why I wasn't looking for a BP but how easy is this converted? It seems it would need a conversion rather than the swapping out the seat like my other bikes?
