hi all, i replaced the LH switch on my V4S... i thought it was a straight plug-and-play but for some reason, the bike is 'not recognizing' it. I spoke to a main dealer and they confirmed the same but I cannot get it to communicate with the main screen. Ps. the bike starts and I have a hazard warning lights on all the time. Any thoughts?
I don’t think it is plug & play, I have a nagging thought in the back of my head I read, some time ago, somewhere else, it needs to be programmed/synced into the bike’s electronics via DDS or Texa.
Cheers is there a decent aftermarket diagnostic tool that i could source and use to scan the bike (for errors)? Rgds
OBDSTAR works well. Got one here near York on the off chance you're nearby. Not sure mine works with the V4s though.
cheers mate, I'm down in the south . All sorted - wire snapped in the harness; soldered and crimp butt'd and it is all good now.
