When I first read that I thought what... Zheds gonna be bombing round a 1 mile dirt track on a bike with no brake, 140 bhp and a hair trigger power band Ah... on a DT175
No brakes you say? Have a look at the front wheel. It's drum, not disc, so that's more or less the same thing as having no brakes! Probably for the best though because front brake + loose surface = pain, suffering and loss of amenity
There’s a flat tracker school you know. It’s never too late. Being old just means that if you smash yourself up, you only spend your last couple of decades in a wheelchair (when you were going to end up decrepit anyway), rather than the best years of your life! https://flattrackschool.co.uk/

May 1941 HMS Mashona sinking. The only British ship sunk in the 'Sink the Bismark' action. It was heading home to re-bunker when a German plane dropped one bomb that went through the deck and exploded in the engine room. My Uncle Tom was a CPO Stoker (so very lucky to get out) and bizarrely he's probably one of those dots scrambling down the side in this unique photo. He was sunk a second time on a later Malta convoy. He survived the war. A lovely gentle man.
