S4 Monster Challenge Bike.

  1. I hope this is the right place to ask this question, but if I am wrong, let me know

I am thinking of selling my 2002 S4 Monster Challenge bike, I bought it in 2003 from Woods of Abergele when it had just over 600 miles on it, it is now showing 3389! It is marked as No. 20 and still has all of the correct bits from the build by GSE in 2002, plus all of the road kit and a good selection of DP carbon extras.

It has been looked after by Pro Twins in Godstone and Ducati Pro Team in Strood (Kent), it was last serviced by Pro Twins in January 2018 when the mileage was 3389, sadly it hasn't turned a wheel since then. I have just finished giving it a refresh, with the forks being overhauled at Pro Twins and the shock rebuilt by KAIS in Manchester, the exhausts have been polished and I will be getting a belt service done before any sale.

Bottom line is I really don't know where to pitch it at price wise and was hoping you guys might be able to help. I have hopefully added a couple of pic's to help. 20210322_195734[1].jpg JT6T4236.JPG

  6. Thought new members could receive messages just not send them??

  7. They can but I think if your post count is below 30 you can’t send them, they both are below 30 so neither one can send a message. I think that’s how it works anyway

  10. Fun bike that. Looks like ST bars??

  11. Thanks Bradders, to my knowledge those bars only appeared on the very early S4's and it is a fun bike, just doesn't get out often enough!

  13. Looks good, I’m quite happy with a slightly raised bar nowadays.

  14. The early S4 did indeed use the same top yoke and bars as the ST2 / ST4 / ST4S phase 1 bikes.

  15. Thank you for confirming, another thing that was changed for S4’s built in 2002 was the clocks, the 2001 bikes had mechanical read outs for the trip and mileage, these were changed to digital ones in 02.
