Honda 250rr

  1. Had a shot on this a couple of weeks back. Obviously not crazy power but was a nice wee thing and sounded great! Never seen one before. I’m guessing they never made the uk?

  2. Japanese market only bikes but have been imported all over the place, I had many of the 400 versions. Very rare and collectible now the 250. Gear driven cams make them sound amazing.

  5. My mate's Mrs in NZ had one, I didn't have a go on it, but it did buzz along nicely.
    I saw the FZR 250 version at one of the South Leverton bike nights last year.

  6. 18000 rpm redline if I recall (or 15K ?) either way they sound insane on a pass

  7. Many years ago I had a 1988 Suzuki GSXR 250R, 4 cyl, 4 Stroke, 4 carb, 6 speed, 17500rpm Redline but would go to 19k rpm until drop off, was a fantastic little bike, if you redlined + every gear you could get 180kph out of it.
