Anyone else think it’s all a bit fishy? FHO suddenly mid Feb decides she’s not running davey Todd and Peter Hickman but will just run a one man team…. And they suddenly setup under 8TEN I assume with no sponsors etc? I think the whole setup is doomed and I feel bad for Davey Todd as he was finally getting a decent shot on a superbike. maybe Faye’s dad closed the chequebook, or decided he didn’t want to give any money too that narcissist Stuart Higgs? Vial piece of work.
Yes, it is all a bit strange, looks like a financial decision I agree. Apparently the 8TEN is a DT and PH team supported by BMW.
That’s a big move for both of them surly all down to money, they must have some big sponsors on the horizon? Hope it works out for them both get the impression lots of teams will be tightening the purse strings!
there will be half a dozen teams across the main championships that don’t make it through the seasons I reckon. Don’t worry though, Higgs will making them use £6 per litre unleaded petrol and ECU’s supplied by a company he owns……
yeah, I know but she has step parents that is where she got into the casino stuff. I’m sure it’s her money, but I just think it’s all a bit fishy. Maybe she wants to unwind a little from the championship for the issues of being in a relationship with Higgs, who knows. It certainly would be an easier press release to say financial pressure rather than personal stuff
Lots of noise on various different places about this over the last few weeks .It ranges from the BMW car that was smashed up last TT under so called mysterious circumstances to Hicky and her having a bit of a fall out. But im sure most of that is just noise. I wouldn't be surprised if she just got bored and fancied a change.
let’s face it, she’s put serious cash into it over the last few years and Pete has gone totally off the boil in BSB, tbh I’d be surprised if he’s able to get in the top 10 all year, but will have a good TT as usual. the big question will be whether the BMW as a package is more competitive this year as it’s still not confirmed whether the championship will revert to allowing the different compound rear tire that will help bmw and Ducati
Thats a good call, yes she has and he hasnt done alot has he. TBH im no fan of Hicky , Micky D for me!! , but do also like Davey Todd so hope he is ok going forward as he is the new man heading for the top of the tree. I actually dont like BSB , i find it a bit dull compared to the roads.

8Ten is Hicky and Daveys numbers combined. Faye has said she’s got stuff going on in Macau and wants to do more for women in the sport. It does seem a bit late to be making these changes though.
except she had 4 strong female team at one point and none of them managed to progress, especially Scarlett whatever her name was who was just a b*tch, saw her at the silverstone pit walk acting like a brat and then few rounds later she was kicking off and apologising on socials then sacked. not saying FHO shouldn’t support the women, but on top of the expensive BSB team she put a lot of money into those girls. the other big consideration is that Daz did everything in that team and most of those staff have gone to 8Ten so I’d be interested who’s going to staff this one person effort
I can’t comment on riders behaviou other than that if that’s the way she behaved she deserved the boot. I guess we’ll see what happens but would imagine Hickey and Davey will have a decent crew and maybe some from FHO as suggested.
I believe most of the staff are going with Peter Hickman including Daz the team manager as they are great friends
my guess is she got fed up with burning through millions, i saw an interview and in her 1st weekend running a team the tyre bill was £16K her billionaire granddad had 4 wives and 17 kids. was it her own money or does she's earn loads from shares in the casinos? if she did maybe it would be the name of casinos on the sides of the trucks
