  1. I have started to get shiny things back on that SSD. Rear brake, with brand new Galfer braided hoses. DDE991D8-B10C-49A2-8DBB-7D8EA9C637E1.jpeg A99A6E1C-A800-4BE3-8CA0-4685CFDA2E74.jpeg

    Cleaned up starter solenoid. 841E9B81-8753-4D58-9B1C-D3B76E119839.jpeg

And I am almost done with the refurb of the pickups wiring. I decided to preserve the original 4-way connector that I chose to locate up front, away from the vertical exhaust header. Just waiting for some heat proof cable protection to wrap this up. 4A57970C-DF0E-46BA-A9CB-849E25769CEF.jpeg

And the battery is waiting, ready for the soon coming series of electrical tests.

Other good news: I should get my forks and shocks back later this week, all nice and refurbed.

    Chop chop!

  3. Cleaned and refurbed carbs are back on, with nice new intake gaskets.

  4. Yep, and now to hoping they work great too!

  5. Those rubber inlet manifold spacers always split sooner or later. Keep a spare pair ready for when they do.

  6. Not sure if you have done it already, or are planning to do it, but clean out the sump filter before you bolt in the rear cylinder header pipe....

  7. They do but it can be compounded by bolting them up too tight in the first place.

  8. Andy,
What sump filter are you referring to?

  9. There's a (21 mm) nut underneath the LHS engine cover. This is a long gauze filter that sits in the sump and is (internally) connected to the oil pump on the other side of the engine.
You can get aluminium ones, rather than the OEM plastic, which are a lot more sturdy.

  10. Oh I see, yeah, this guy: DD040CA7-9613-400D-A001-54F9D4C15EC7.jpeg

It’s been replaced by this guy, a while ago. :upyeah:;)

  11. This is a really nice part right there. It was out of stock when I purchased my new one, but I will see if I can get one now as I have an order in progress with Mdina Italia.

Thanks for the tip @Andy Bee . :upyeah::)
