this week I ordered a 'comfort' seat (+25mm) for my 2016 Icon 800, the +25mm is great, much nicer for my hips and knees but comfortable it is not, the padding is rock herd, so my question is this normal and will it relax with use? I know there are aftermarket seats are more forgiving but I really wanted an OEM seat this time.
The Touratech comfort seat for the Multi is pretty firm, more so than the standard seat. However, it's a better shape, along with better covering material and, if I'm not mistaken, has gel. It's more supportive and this is, in my experience, borne out with much improved comfort over long days and tours where the OEM seat was a torture device. Hopefully yours is in the same vein.
