sold my old faithful pinnacle winter/commuter gravel bike on ebay tonight . Off to pick up it's replacement saturday morning .
Pleased with it, I think it was a bargain , the wife isn't sure why it was needed . It's very very similar to my carbon framed one. The brakes were awful, I think the pads might be contaminated. A quick rub with some sandpaper sorted the rear out but the front is still pants so I'll order some new pads.
Just as long as it's a different colour you're covered. Women don't always get the need for another bike bless em.
I have similar riser/hover bars on my Roubaix, they really help with comfort on a long ride. Nice bike...
An interesting UK long distance cycle route. https://www.muchbetteradventures.co...6eGM77j2cw7Qy-l_nM_aem_N-A4x_QnSdlQPCnSfg7RoA
Rather lovely weather today. Managed 40 and a bit miles, lots of bastard cyclists out and about today. I hate pikeys....
First ride on my beautiful Cervelo S5 road bike today since crashing last July. I’d forgotten just how much better it is than the gravel bike. Our youngest daughter is home for the weekend, training for her first triathlon in April. Today’s ride 32 miles, 2,000 ft. Tomorrow riding in the New Forest with friends.
35 miles to the Potting Shed at Hyde in the New Forest, fantastic fish finger butter. Sorry no photos
