My 1997 916 SPS is currently being worked on elsewhere. I want to purchase a Rear Chain guard/Hugger to protect the Ohlin Rear Shock and Spring that I've just had refurbished and want to know if the existing Carbon Fibre on the bike is plain weave or Twill (diagonal) weave. Can anyone enlighten me?
Probably best to get whoever has the bike to send you a picture, even if someone else has the same bike as you the variability in the parts supplied back then wouldn’t mean yours would be the same. Got to be worth getting one though, the shock is just too exposed. Who did you get to rebuild it?
