Welp, job done. Packed full of grease for the roller bearings, dust seal on (flat side facing bearing right @Android853sp?). Some notes, I used the bag and boiling method, it helped but ultimately I had to give in and get a local indie to remove and push in the new bearings. Which I'd advise as the alloy hub is VERY soft, so if you don't square in the bearings correctly, it's easy to damage the housing. Getting the hub out the swingarm was a pain as per usual, little tip, if its binding halfway its likely because of the crud in the swingarm. Stick a small stick up the drain hole and wiggle it around to free the debris. Outside of that, it's a simple job, a bit messy but certainly worth checking on older/high mileage bikes. A rubber mallet is again, your best friend. A quick edit: it was copper grease on the shaft. Don't use copper grease on the shaft. If the previous owner of my GT is reading this, naughty.
