My best mate has just had to give up work due to primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis :-( He’s not wheelchair-bound yet, but can’t walk more than about half a mile and the prognosis is not good, so I thought f*ck it, we are both 60 this year, so let’s do something big. He doesn’t know it yet, but I’ve bought a lightweight folding wheelchair and on April 24th we are flying out to Spain and hiring a car for the drive to Jerez! We have a package from https://www.polepositiontravel.com/ with hotel and passes for the paddock and Gresini Ducati hospitality all three days, a special guest dinner at the hotel on Friday night, a tour of the service road and a visit to the pit garage, plus dinner with the team on Saturday night. Can’t bloody wait!
