As above - the rear Michelin on my hyper has a got slowish puncture....the leak is round the plug i put in a couple of years ago...since then ive gained the skill of being able to change my own tyres. So now that i can remove the tyre on my own-some all the Puncture repair kits are quick fixes...is there a repair kit that i can use to fix the puncture from the inside of the tyre....everything i search for are plug based...?

The above mushroom type patches, fitted from inside are fine, not only are they stuck from the inside but, unlike those repaired from the outside, the tyre pressure holds them in place. Tyre repair places like Kwik-fit etc. use them. I had a 2 punctures in my 916 rear tyre, both repaired this way no problems whatsoever. IMO plugs fitted from the outside are for temporary, roadside repair, I wouldn't trust one beyond a get-you-home job.
Good enough for touring or commuting. Track days, racing, spirited progress - not good enough. No repairs, fit a new tyre.
