  2. Hard work paying off again. Stuff you love to see.

  3. Jake was a cut above all weekend long (with a doth of the cap to Manu Gonzalez).
Loved the way Salac stuck himself in the mix at the start to let him do his thing too.
I still think the dynavolt team is the one to be on but good start to the seasons seem to get you moto gp contracts these days and I don’t think he’s had a better one.

  4. Well done JD but what a snooze fest.

  5. You haven’t seen anything yet.

  6. I wish they’d make more of the moto 3 show/race. It’s an hour and a half long and they talk complete moto gp until the young lads are lining up on the grid.
I want to know where the future stars have come from/raced etc.

  7. I enjoyed that more than I thought I would but why has AlexMarquez gone full Brad Ray with the specs?

  8. Where are all the Marquez haters saying he will be throwing it at the scenery and hasn’t got what it takes?…… they are in this thread but I won’t embarrass anyone….

we are 2 rounds in and he has a 31 point lead over Pecco!!!!!….. 31 points after two rounds over the guy who has exactly the same equipment as you

  12. The L and I are close enough to make a U

  13. This is what I thought of it…

  14. Another fast forward GP, it was nice of Marc to let Alex have a turn at the front though.
Moto2 marginally better with Moto3 being the best watch again

  15. Have u still got a bee in your bonnet from last season mate?
Think it’s been pretty clear that 93 is going to walk it this year and been stated on mutliple occasions by most who post in this section?

  16. Let me know when the season is over. Looking forward to WSB and BSB for some racing. PS, why does Alex M never overtake his brother at the first corner when he looks to have track position on him? He's always been happy to nerf off anybody else?

  17. Been thinking about this a bit and I think I was hoping he was finished when he jumped on the Gresini but in my head I knew if he won a race he was “back” and once he got a factory bike it was all over.

Which is what as it turns out it’s become.
I want to see racing with multiple race winners and champions, which we enjoyed while he was struggling on the Honda and/or injured and for the first (at least) third of last season, it looked like his injuries had taken their toll.
I was clearly completely wrong in thinking/hoping that. Happy to admit it.
What I’m not happy about is what my fears have become.
It’s a procession and likely to be for the next two years and more
I don’t bum riders like some, never have, not even Rossi. I just want to see good (clean) racing which unfortunately Marquez on the best bike isnt going to provide.
    Hence my *ahem slight negativity.

  18. He had to grow up and at 32 years old, it was way overdue. Not just ‘his’ body that was at risk. Currently riding using his skill, but also his head and race craft. It is good to see.
Proof of the pudding will be if someone ups their game and properly challenges him in a race. Will we see the old Marc..

Shame Martin is out, in respect of a challenger, but not convinced he could have taken it to Marc on that Aprilia.

Bagnaia, something is up there. Whilst he often leaves it late for quali, he is usually on it come the race.

  19. IMO, there’s not another rider/machine combination that can make a contest of it, including his brother, who to be fair is riding his socks off but he isn’t ruthless like Mark. It won’t be a KTM, Aprilia or Honda any time soon. As for Baggy, he’s suddenly number 2 in the team and I suspect he can’t get his head around Marquez’s data like he could with Martin’s. IMO, only mechanical failure, a tyre pressure infringement or a failed hail mary overtake is going to beat Marquez. Andy
