How much do people charge to fit belts ? I have the belts and toyed with having a go , but wondered if getting someone who knows what to do is best first
I've done quite a few sets now, but wouldn't consider charging anyone to do it because the consequences of it going wrong are huge. However, if somebody local wanted to have a go with me stood behind them and using my tools I'd be happy to support as long as I was plied with a brew or two. I'd say bring the bike round and stick it on my ramp to do it, but it really needs to be properly cold before starting.
Depends which model. Most of the time taken in a belt change on many is simply getting to them (and putting it all back together again ).
