Greetings Forum Recently acquired a new to me '19 MS 1260 Pikes Peak to play on for a few years. Only had a short spin on it prior to winter landing, but have to say that short ride did put a huge smile on my face. I've spent the last 7 years on a KTM 1290 super adventure which was superb but fancied a change and there was nothing in the 'adventure / sports touring' category that appealed to me except for the MS. Bike CV also includes BMW R1200 GS adventure, Aprilia RSV Mille R, Kawasaki ZX9R & Yamaha R1. The MS is superbly equipped with everything I'm going to need but, I'll need to get re-acquainted with a smaller fuel tank capacity after being spoilt with large capacity units. The bike has been checked by Alec at Pro Team Italia, Strood for a full health check/diagnostic and has a clean bill of health....nearly a 6 YO bike with 8k miles on it....he said it's practically a new bike . Here she is in all her glory...Am looking forward to 2 trips this year to the Vosges and the Pyrenees....then back to the Dolomites next summer.
Welcome to the forum. Bought a 1260 PP late last year. Like you one ride before the winter, a couple since. Had a 1260s Multi before this but it feels so much better in terms of handling and directional stability.
