So I’ve got this bling ohlins shock that was going to go on a bling 749, said 749 is now a track bike. So a stock shock is going back on, after some research I’ve found that this is quite a rare item, but hard to put a price on. I bought it from another member a few years back, it has been mounted but not used, previous owner had it on their track bike from memory. looking for 520 posted, but open to a px for another shock to replace it.
Each to their own and GLWS of course - but taking a decent quality shock off a bike you are going to use on track is crazy talk to me - I would have been doing it the other way round!
I know mate, I want to keep it but I’m buying a multi next week and I need to smooth things with the mrs as I have to justify a 5th bike, so some bling will have to go.
5th bike?! That's some achievement. Wish I had your negotiating skills. I can't get passed justifying my 3rd. Keep getting told if I want another bike, one of the existing bikes needs to go. Even tried arguing that since we've got 3 kids, its only logical I should have 3 bikes. After all, we didn't have to trade in one of the kids when number 3 arrived. Unfortunately, I'm not after a 749, so your bling would be expensive wall art for me, but GLWS.
