(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Stripped my M1100S to get at the belts.
Removed old belts.
Put new Exactfit ones on and tensioned them to ~100Hz.
Came in for dinner.
Putting everything back together tomorrow.

 

Attained 50yr-old Triumph Nirvana when no drips dripped after my latest gasket & Threebond effort

Oh, and Threebond 1215 definitely has an expiration date. My old tube - maybe 2yrs old - produced oily gunk as I started this exercise, so I got more and all was well...

 

Spent most of the day being a twat, laughing like someone that should be in an asylum.

 

Took my Nightstorm on a 300 mile round trip to Exeter to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary, not an exciting ride but always good to give it a run out

 

I spend all my days doing the same.

 

Usual pre-season service (just fluids this time) and discovered I had no spare washers... impossible to find on a Sunday I discovered :-(

 

Moved two of my eldest sons bikes from my father's garage to his garage

 

After my muddy adventures yesterday the GG no longer had functioning indicators so I cleaned everything up and ended up with a pair of illuminated flashers on the offside and one illuminated bulb which didn’t flash at the front nearside and one non-illuminated bulb at the rear. Also gave the chain and sprockets a good clean and lube.

 

Picked up the multi, went for a little blast, happy.
