Frustrated again, sunny weekend forecast but the roads have been gritted the last two nights, so it’s the winter bike for me.
I'm planning a day on the pedals tomorrow. Hoping no salt spreading tonight, can't be getting the new fancy pants bike dirty!
It’s tomorrow, come rain or shine the Rally is loaded and I’m off to The Cotswolds with some mates, can’t wait. I’ve been riding just not the Ducati.
Me too. My Duc is tucked away til the salt has 100% gone. Been riding my other bike though and giving it a weekly rinse.
I rode the Rally 250 miles this weekend on one tank of fuel, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The only negative was the seat seemed less comfortable than the V4S. I wonder if that’s because the last four months I’ve been riding an old RT with a sofaesque seat. extremely happy
Surely a better question is “Why?” As in “Why do guys buy adventure bikes but then smother them in expensive and delicate carbon fibre, clean them to a state of sterility which would put NASA to shame and generally treat them like pampered garage queens?”
