So many shysters in bsb but don’t dare open a Turkish barbers or phone shop on a local high street lol. The bsb gammonati will be all over you https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/six-years-in-jail-for-investment-scam-96470
this is from 2012? So I guess he did 6 year stretch and then set up a race team, seems totally fine ♂️
Supersport isn’t the premier, wsbk, or I misunderstood what you said. Bsb is meant to be close to road bikes, but the motel and other regs mean unless you have big funds and teams behind you to sort the electrics you have no chance.
It’s the same guy btw https://www.moneymarketing.co.uk/news/financial-adviser-jailed-for-defrauding-british-expats/ And if you check their accounts out the least lost/liable is c£650k early days, and the company directs have been a revolving door with Gardner on and off more than the 7 dwarfs with Snow White when she slept
They were talking about it last weekend in Portimao saying it was likely to come in 2027. Not confirmed yet.
Let’s face it, despite all the excuses, sorry, assurances made by Dorna and the FIM, the MotoGP rule changes being implemented in 2027 will mean the superbikes in their current spec, will become the premier spectacle. Dorna’s answer, do away with superbikes, something they tried to do when they inherited the WSBK in 2013 but didn’t succeed. End of an era, just like the demise of the two-stroke Andy
I’m okay with Supersport becoming the premier class if it has great racing and makes manufacturers invest and build new bikes. Realistically I’m not going out and buying a new superbike, and I’m in a big crowd of people of that view, they are too hard to justify now. Manufacturers hopefully would invest in more Supersport next gen models that we can buy on the road in say ‘higher bar’ form but equally see racing. Look how well the RS660 has done from that perspective, or the Panigale V2S will do (as much as I still hate the drop in power and those exhausts)
Sorry I don’t agree with that. The best bikes and riders will always be in MotoGP. In recent years we have had some great racing in MotoGP. As it stands road bikes in their current format have a limited lifespan anyway.
