  2. Everyone does except the mods of course. @El Toro 's are in a removals van right now, and @Ducbird naturally keeps hers in a bin.

  3. Saving them for a separate build thread but the 748…

  4. Is it the lighting or does the front number board have a yellow tint to it?

    I'm sure @Expat Jack bought a 748 with a yellowish number board

  6. Had a day out on the Versys 650 today, ended up at Huggys just after 1pm, there were a few nice Ducati there, spoke to the owner of a lovely 748, and the owner of a stunning 851 (not a member on here), sadly, only pic i got was the 851

  11. It’s just the lighting. The number board is the ‘standard’ moto graffix type. Needs to come off and be replaced but I’m not brave enough just yet as I’ve seen it’s expected to take some lacquer with it

  12. Pinch your wife's hairdryer, warm it up, peel it off carefully

  13. The one in my 748 was a mess and would have taken lumps of lacquer off so I left it. The one on my 749r came off easily with no damage.

  14. Yes - this is what I’ve heard. It seems it’s pot luck & dependent on how long it’s been on the bike / had exposure to sun

Will post the result at some point!
