Keep a pack of autoglym bird dropping wipes. Place one on top of the dropping and wait for it to soften then wipe off
Went to my own opticians; new reading glasses & new driving glasses left a sizeable hole in the wallet. Oh, and your dry macular needs polarised sunglasses, so my current ones are no good. Lovely.
Put in a bid on Ebay for a 2nd hand mtb and won. A trek merlin 7 (gen 2 i think) need one as my 3rd son is starting to ride and would rather an mtb again for the muddy paths and such rather than a roadbike. Picking up tomorrow
Spent the afternoon in the garden. Spring has been like a switch, with everything bursting into life and a lawn that grows a a centimetre or so when you turn your back on it. Easy enough, as long as you keep on top of it, as well as the weeding, fence painting, sorting out an irrigation system for the plants, installing a retractable wall hose reel and many hours of pruning. Hopefully the weather will play ball and I can sit outside with a cold one to enjoy it.
Also spent the last three days writing some YAML code as a part of my Home Assistant setup, to monitor my NAS drive and Unifi Protect cloud key. Lots of head scratching and trial and error to get certain parameters to work as intended, but got there in the end.
Yep, I normally use a wet micro fibre cloth on it, just leave it on for 5 minutes, but this stuff wasn’t going anywhere.
Picked my 899 up off the workshop floor, stupid Ducati side stands. Luckily can’t see any damage probably because I have those foam floor tiles in there.
Well the last two days have been hectic with the move, but we've made progress. There's still a few boxes to unpack, but yesterday was 'full on' with Sky being installed, blinds installed throughout and fitted wardrobes installed in the master bedroom and the main guest bedroom. I also had to sort the garage out so I could put my bike in when I collected it from my friends house last night. Today is a day of unpacking the last few boxes, putting the new front door plaque up, and building some new flat-pack furniture that was delivered yesterday. It's getting there.
