Ffffing waste of money. Tried two different brands, both promising the earth but neither delivering. Andy PS if it's the Multistrada, I might still have a spare seat that you can get memory foam or a gel pad put in.
It is the Multi mate, after three only three hours on Thursday I was glad for a break. If you have the spare seat let me know what you want for it, there is a decent place local that does good work on seats.

I used cycling shorts on a long trip across France and Spain. They worked fine on the multistrada, no jeans just shorts, looked a bit of a bollox though!
Have you considered getting the saddle reworked? I had a KTM 990 that was a joke, you could barely do two hours without agony. A guy in North Shields added a gell patch into the oem seat, it transformed the bike. SaddleCraft...they do shipping in both directions too..
I hadn’t thought of it, but if Andy has a spare one then definitely worth doing. Wouldn’t want to add any height though.
That would be a double bonus. At 5’11” I can’t get both feet flat on the ground, so a bit of a drop would be good.
Std DVT Multi seat is a joke for premium touring bike. Have it sorted by a specialist or, if you can find one, a Touratech Ducati Performance comfort seat (not the later non Touratech one) is a good solution. For me the latter transformed the bike in terms of comfort. All day, day after day, on tours from, with the OEM seat, being uncomfortable at the first fuel stop, smarting at the end of day #1 to being reluctant to sit on it on subsequent mornings. Bought both rider and pillion versions, about £800 retail, for significantly less. Rider one used from a forum member and pillion one from DMC in a sale. Firm but supportive with improved shape, better material and a gel pad.
Mine is the earlier 1200s Sport. The seat is the touring one but doesn’t have a gel insert I don’t think.
There are plenty of m/c seat upholsterers out there, best to go with a recommendation. Not sure if Tony Archer is still in business.
There is a place local to me that are excellent. They have done ones for me on older bikes in the past and been great. Only being 3 miles away is a bonus as well.
Brown’s Upholstery near Drayton Bassett. Not used them for a couple of years but they did a great job on my RD 250 and a Mates GT750 and Blackbird. They aren’t specifically a bike place, they do all sorts but are proper old school and can turn their hand to most things. Edit - spoke to my mate and apparently the guy from Browns has gone independent and is in Cannock now. I will try and find out his name.
Airhawk seat - inflate to desired level of comfort. Deflate for feel & hoonage - reinflate for bounce & long distance travels. Move to other motorbikes as required & avoids the whole wearing such-n-such clothing lark.
