You could be right GrumpyGolfer, my physicalities equates with Marc Marquez, only a few kg. lighter, and he's got a bike whereupon his soles brush the ground, (as well as everything else yesterday !). Rather than dwell on the short arses people in general have a surplus of advoirdupois on their frame and therefore an inbuilt active ride height device. Deposit paid and a Street Triple RS on order. I didn't consider the current Monster SP. I had a Supersport for several years and not a fan of that engine at all. That was the reason for buying my Monster 1200S. Apart from which that engine is being replaced across the board. Why would I buy a new bike with an engine that's being discontinued? Instant high depreciation. I would have bought the Streetfighter V2S if there was a low seat option, but sadly not, they actually have a high seat option!
I’ve stolen my mates STR Moto2 at the mo, it’s really good. I hate the dash display, and I’d probably just get a normal ST but it’s good. I’m not sure the engine has the same character as the earlier triumph triples but that’s emissions for you
It’s a set of 2023 standard headers and a delkevic end can I believe, as the 2025 headers have the extra silencer and are welded. Most people are trying to snap up 2023 headers to put on there. the Daytona 675r 2013 actually had larger header pipes, so fitted with the correct end can and map they make a bit more power, I imagine Triumph did it to give themselves ways to ‘find 3hp’ each time they update it
