It will always seem a bit daft to me that qualifying takes place in completely different conditions to the actual races that are about to take place. What did they say it’s like 20 degree drop in track temp or thereabouts? Be amazed (and pleased) if FQs grid position is a true reflection of where he’s likely to finish.

Yes, a very good race. A mix of teams and manufactures up front was also a positive. Pleased Vinales did not get demoted. There was a possibility of a tyre pressure rule infringement, but all ok. That rule needs to go in the bin! Do hope Martin has no serious problems from his off. So, bets on which round Marc will wrap up the championship ?

Thats tough luck. His chances this season are dead and buried. Just needs to work on being completely fit and ‘repaired’ ready for next year.
