All the gushing over 93 so far this season (and rightfully so in *some cases) Peccos still only one of Marcs famous brain farts away from him. Can only hope for the championship’s sake that Europe treats pecco a bit better. Was a good race on the whole though.
really sorry to say it but our sport has a lot to answer for…. He was simply not fit enough to be out there, being able to do a press up is not enough of a test for getting on these bikes, he couldn’t even put his own gloves on and take his helmet on and off. we all love a gritty hero but I’m convinced he was wide and out of control because he simply didn’t have the strength, in the sprint race after 4 laps he dropped 2 seconds a lap off the pace, if that doesn’t say he was struggling I don’t know what does. the sport needs to take a look at itself and duty of care, if he had waited one more round I really don’t think this would have been the result.
But, he has a duty of care to himself surely, he's not stupid, I was in monte Blanco, didn't feel right, so I didn't ride, life's worth more than a few laps ..
Seems to have been very unlucky. Took me an hour to crawl out of bed last time I did it, and that was just a few ribs. Pro tip. Get a reclining chair that is comfy enough to sleep in if it happens.
That’s like a Viz top tip Okay, here goes- Don’t waste money on expensive binoculars. Simply stand closer to the object you wish to view… I’ll get me coat…
Hey, if it helps I will get it for you.. I will admit you were mildly funny this time. Doesnt happen often
Did anyone else have issue with the streaming on MotoGP website ? Mine slowed right down, kept stopping. I tried to watch on my phone and that did the same. So watched it live on Quest - which was okay.
Found it a bit flakey on the Moto2. Switched to another streaming option. There is a button at bottom right of screen when watching to select. Just had a look, I think when it is live streaming it maybe looks like an aerial or something similar that you click on.
Yes. Sept 23. Plus a broken collar bone, sternum, dislocated shoulder, one pneumothorax, one haemothorax and a bucketload of internal organ injuries.
Yeah, I knew it was a bad one. You okay now? Ish? Blimey, 23! Time flies. I had a fast off around the same time but was much luckier than you.
Well, I’m back riding but still got multiple issues. Luckily none life threatening as I got cleared early this year on my internal organ issues. I know im not fit or strong enough to ride on track just yet (topically!). Road is ok but I don’t want to endanger myself or others on track if I had to take sudden evasive action with lack of strength on left arm. I’m working hard at physio and hope to do a track day in the summer.
Just read an article that says JM was hit in the back by DiGi’s front wheel. That might explain some of the injuries. Andy
Yeh Digi did the initial damage and apologised profusely by all accounts (even though it wasn’t his fault).
