Bought at the end of 2019 with 28,000 miles and an MoT. To be fair, the bike turned out to be a bit of a dogs breakfast with a later rear subframe and shotgun rear light seat unit and a butchered wiring loom. This didn’t matter to us as the bike was always destined for the track. After a lot of time and effort by an R6 independent specialist, the bike has happily run on track up until 2023, when it was retired due to lack of opportunity and the inevitable question, do I really want to be doing this ? I want to be clear, unless you have a stash of 5EB parts, the bike isn’t going to be cost effective to be put back on the road but it does make a great track bike. Race Candy fibreglass bodywork, brand new Metzeler Racetec K3’s front and rear and comes with a few spares like brake pads and front discs (and a spare engine that has already been plundered for a few spares). I do also still have the original plastic. Pictures to follow as the bike is currently in the dining room. V5 is present. I’m told the bike has a value, probably as high as £1,500 but for a forum contributor, I’ll accept a close offer over £1,000. Andy
