  1. I’m liking the look of these. Should make a superb, quick road bike with that engine. Only require an effective screen fitted to work for me.

  3. It looks to me like one of those kids scoot along balance bikes

  4. It does look like an elephant sat on it.

  5. Not sure I understand the marketing strategy. Isn’t this just a tamer M1000XR with a boxer engine ? Andy

  7. It's just the latest version of their popular naked boxer, same as the R1100R, R1150R, R1200R and R1250R, but with the latest engine.

  8. Every day is a school day. Never seen one but in a way, I’m quite pleased I know nothing about the BMW range :joy: Andy

  9. Yep. I dont think it is a stunner, but do like the styling overall. Being used to seeing a boxer engine in my motorcycles, I dont notice it as much. But, they no longer have visibly offset cylinders which is a huge plus. Fairly symmetrical too, unlike many v-twins. Short of a sports Ducati, which bikes look really nice these days anyway?
As I have found out over the years, I cant see the bloody things when riding them!

  10. I once owned a KTM 790, a looker they are not.
However sometimes a well handling bike takes you beyond just how it looks at a bike meet.

  11. I’ve had a lot of BMW models over the years, apart from the R with the boxer engine. I nearly hit the button on a couple of R Nine T’s, but something held me back. BMW make very good bikes, but they’re a bit robotic, with not much ‘character’. I won’t be going back to the brand until I’m old, and favor comfort over looks.

  12. Had a couple of GSA's. Fabulous bikes.
