Omg..... I absolutely can't wait for the summer,as all I do is roll my bike out, clean, roll back in and repeat lol
Not new to Ducati, been away for a few years, just an update coming back to the forum. Since selling the Panigale a few years back, moved to S1000R, R1, KTM12900 Superduke R, Aprilia Tuono Factory, I now find myself back to the bike I meant to buy a good few years ago. Just picked up a 2022 Streetfighter V4S, Matt Black. Bought it from Ducati Glasgow who supplied it new, original owner had thrown everything at it new, full Akrapovic system, rizoma rear sets and some Ducati Performance carbon bits. Love this bike, suits me perfectly and I’ve managed just under 1000 miles since picking the bike up 3 weeks ago! Not had time to get any decent pictures yet but here you go. Plan to fit carbon radiator side panels. The last owner installed the carbon winglets. They are going to be replaced with the single piece FullSix carbon GP wings. Also considering replacing the Akra’s with the GP under seat configuration. I love that look! In the meantime, I’ve dropped a note to FullSix to see if their carbon belly pan will fit around the Akrapovic system fitted just now. I’m split on the belly pan but it does look bloody good in shiny carbon! I did consider a Hypermotard 698 when I was in buying this. Had one out for an hour and loved it. Just letting enough time pass to let the Mrs get accustomed to this sitting in the garage then I will be sneaking the 698 RVE in beside it! Edit to add: Just ordered the throttle spacers from Ducati spacers. I bought the EBay speacials last week but after reading this forum, some good advice made me ditch the cheap ones and go for the Ducati spacers ones.
Nice ride mate....... I kind of took a similar route from s1000r,KTM SDR etc..... But soon as I rode a SF,I knew my credit card was about to take a huge hit lol...... But the advice I was given, when I my purchased my bike, along with the throttle spacers,is the evotech sumpguard, and it's not that expensive...... Enjoy the bike !!
Aye, could have saved a fortune going straight to this bike, at least I know I am on the right bike I had the sump guard in the back of my mind, thanks for the reminder mate. It has the Evotech radiator guards, sump guard and some crash protection needs to go onto the list! I plan to keep this one anyway so it’s worth making sure the essentials are there before going for the bling!
I do like the Matt black and it was my preferred choice on this occasion but as they say, you can’t beat a shiny red Ducati mate! The red and Black is a stunning combination, I much prefer that to red and silver. That’s a really nice bike mate!
