  1. Me again... now i have my eyes set on a 2025 Panigale V4S, I’m gauging interest / a value on my track bitsa Panigale V4S. Genuinely no idea what the bike would be worth whole, or do i strip it down and sell it in bits which i can kind of put a price on?

2023 Panigale V4S built around a 2023 engine with 5k miles on it, loom and ECU's (all from the same bike for £4500) purchased from Motomine Parts on ebay last summer. the bike was broken for spares by Motomine as it was a category B write off so the frame had to be destroyed. I had to buy a brand new dash (£900) and a brand new lockset (£340) from Ducati via Nelly at Cornerspeed to get her fired up. Since then Shes had the 2023 rearset mounting brackets (200) and had the Evo3 software installed (£500ish) and was fully mapped by Sam West at MotoHub (£600ish) to get the best out of the Storm Performance Exhaust (£2400) I also had to get a 2023 tank in red which was 600, again from motomine.

You may have seen my post in the wanted section on the forum last year about Ducati now not selling blank / race frames to anyone, which meant the only frame i could source was a blank 2019 (1st generation frame) from the US (£1500) Now the ECU's all have the same Vin and engine number on them as the original bike (who’s reg was SG23 OAS) and I’ve managed to get the bike registered to me on the Ducati App which shows some of the servicing history. The bike couldn’t go back on the road, unless you were to find / source a V4 frame and V5 from ebay or a salvage yard.

The bike has done a 3 day trip to Andalucía last October and a chilly Donnington day on the 9th April 2025.

Spec of the build (from what I can remember)

    • Spider Oil Filler cap
    • Bonimici Billet Dash Protector
    • Samco Thermostat 'Squirter' delete
    • Headlight and rear lights (as i couldn’t find any race blanks)
    • A lot of Titanium bolts and lockwire
The only downside really is my magnificent Chinese fairings got a little chipped when i ran deep into the redgate and took to the gravel and when the bike stopped it tipped over on the right side. so there is some gravel rash to the right side.

So if you've had the stamina and endurance to read this nonsense, what are your thoughts on the value of the bike? I fully understand its all subjective and i am never going to recover the cost of the build but id prefer to sell it whole as its a cracking bike, although i appreciate there will be some vultures circling for some of the goodies should i break her. Anyone tried selling a similar build? how did you get on? is it just easier to break it?
