  2. Does it just bolt on?

  3. No, you need a decat pipe too otherwise you're baffling twice which I doubt will do it much good.

Fitting instructions for the slip on.

My mate (who's can this is), had this fitted to his Multistrada without the de-cat pipe. The can slips over the standard cat pipe.

As rivets reply, this can also be used with the de-cat pipe as well.

  5. As far as I'm aware, Leo vince exhausts for the MTS1200 consist of a decat pipe and a tail pipe/muffler as the original muffling is taken care of by the "cat" therefore when the decat pipe is fitted you still need to muffle the exhaust hence the conventional rear section here.
Instructions line 1 says remove existing OE silencer - that's the cat.

  6. Picture on instructions suggest you fit to the cat

Above is the cat for a 2012 MTS Pikes Peak. This is the one that had the Leo Vince slip on can for sale attached. The bike these were attached to run faultlessly and perfectly fine with both the standard cat and Leo Vince slip on fitted. This slip on can has also been run with a de-cat pipe with no issues either.

If you do want some further advice on the fitting, if any further engine management adjustments are required or anything else, please feel free to contact Bob as this is his sale. At present he owns two Pikes Peak editions, and does know a thing or two about how this can was fitted, any other set up required and how the can performed on his bike.

  8. Then I shall take my logic and keep it to myself, cannot see the point of fitting this end can to the existing system, must sound like a sewing machine!
Good luck with your sale, wasn't trying to upset the apple cart, was seriously tempted myself but not been the best year so far and can't afford it right now
    All the best

  9. No worries :)

I having the same fun trying to put the old Monster together, and keep tripping other bits for Multistradas and a Hypermotard, and I don't even own those bikes!!

  10. Hi, Is the can still for sale?

  11. Hi! Do you still have the exhaust? I would like to buy it, if you can send it to Hungary! Best regards!
