I had one exactly like that, it had a 3.1 litre stage 2 engine, went like stink until the block split because of the conversion, virtually gave it away in the end. Always waiting for it to catch fire, I think Princess Anne had one that did.
Sometimes I think we should give these (preumably) young lads a bit of credit. Rear spoiler aside, that looks sensibly done and well executed to a decent standard. Lets face it, there are far worse things he could be spending his time and money on, and it has probably given him some pride in it, and he may have learnt some skills along the way. Wouldn't be something I'd own, but it's good we aren't all the same.
Yes, any young person that’s out actually doing something other than stuck in front of a pc, on a phone or gaming etc deserves credit even if it’s not to your taste.
I'm sure we forget what we were like when we were "the yoof"...I bet a fair few on here had dodgy vehicles early on... I can confess that my third vehicle had flames painted down each side.
