2004 model never changed so 21 years in service, but at £48.00 new / delivered with the nut / washer plus two long bolts you can't go wrong.............only time'll tell.!
Well, that didnt last long (about 50 or so miles) on the way up to Bristol Ducati last night on the sxv from the office - horrible vibration from the right hand peg that started as a noise but then went through to the footpeg....nursed it home from Riders...dropped the engine and gearbox oil looking for remenants of the shell bearings but the oil is clean...so thats a good thing....took the clutch cover off... and in turn the clutch plates out, nothing. Spoke to a couple of guys much cleverer than i am with these bikes....got some stuff to do on sunday...
Any reason for leaving CA and going back to the motherland..? Edit just noticed youre heading to Spain...just wondered why though...everything i read in news paints CA as a bit of a hellhole now...
Costa Blanca, bought a place a few years ago. Looking forward to doing some touring but of course none of the bikes are touring bikes.
I think if its a case of "its comfortable" then itll do....if i decided to go touring id just use my z1000 - lovely to ride, nice and comfortable. Its done a couple of 1000 mile stints to the TT...id have no issue taking it touring...but, thats not really my bag...
The Diavel would be the best one, no way on the MV or the V4, may have to chop one in for a Multi once I get the licensing sorted which takes a couple of years for the big bikes.
Whipped the old belts of the 999 to fit some Exactfit ones that have been sitting on the bench a year and a half... Luckily the bike hasn't really moved in a good while. Old ones look perfectly useable, but have definitely been on far too long...(look away now...at least 5 years!)
He was alright when I when you see him. Dead pan humour delivered in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Good. As I said I think he’s hilarious on Mock the Week etc doing little skits, but I found the long stint on stage very droll. But glad you enjoyed it
I've discovered an unauthorised payment taken from my credit card. Seems it's for a "retail savers" club which I've not signed up for. According to the fraud department of the credit card company this is a trick Amazon use when you make a few purchases in a short space of time and they automatically sign you up for this "club" and take £18 a month for the privilege. I'm now waiting for the "club" to open at 9am so I can call them to cancel my subscription and to get my £18 back. Cheeky fuckers! In case you're wondering the company is "completesave.co.uk". Check your credit card statements people!! They can use any of the following as a reference on your statement WLY*COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or CASH.COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or GO2.COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or WWW.COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or WEB.COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK or GOTO.COMPLETESAVE.CO.UK 0800 389 6960
