Thought it was interesting they mentioned chaz D and Eugene L were involved in the *new mirroring tech in moto 3 where they can physically be shown on a tv screen where they’re losing time against other riders. Been a thing in f1 for ages good to see that kind of tech filtering down. Be nice to see it on the telly in the big class eventually.
The utterly daft things is he doesn’t even need to do it lol. Always looking for a chink in the rules when he doesn’t need to. It was so obvious what him and his tow along brother were up to. Pack it in for the good of the sport and dare I say the safety others.
That has to be one of the most boring races ever!…. It’s such a snooze fest these days, nothing really against the winner, it’s the 1 sec gap between most riders and complete lack of overtakes, it really is 2 wheels f1
Its a job to know what to make of it. On the one hand it is not Marc Marquez's fault he is the best rider and he is on the best bike. On top of that he has a lot of experience in how to get the best out of a bike. So why not keep collecting those trophies and bagging the points - and likely bonus money - for the wins. That is the name of the game. Even though Fabio Quartararo was (briefly) in front of today's sprint race, he did not look like he was going to stay there very long - Marc Marquez was easily tracking him, and looked comfortable. Fabio looked to be struggling to stay in front. It is like a stalemate - like a siege. The Marquez brothers out in front. Bagnaia not going to throw it down the road trying to catch Marc Maraquez, so he is probably happy to keep collecting third spot and take any other advantages if they come his way. It is more like a game of patience, which has its own interest. Keep Calm & Carry On, as they say.
Since we cannot change things -ie give MM a slower bike than the rest of the riders to even it up- shouldn't we just enjoy watching one of the greatest riders ever? This won't last long, another guy will come along and take that spot as MM did and does to everyone today. Thats what I'm doing. MM93 is also the ultimate comeback kid too. Whats not to like?!!! If it was a story or movie, everyone would laugh at how fantastical/ implausible the storyline was and yet there he is.
I love watching MM at the front, and Alex too. My issue is completely with the lack of any racing/battling, the odd pass here and there isn’t a patch on what it’s been
Must be totally demoralising for the other riders let alone the fans. Today’s sprint was exceptionally tedious I’m sorry to say. I’m amazed at MM talent of course, but I also like it when he has the odd blip and gives the rest a few scraps.
