Ladies and Gentlemen, Any thoughts on the Oberon clutch slave cylinder for a 2006 999s? OBERON BILLET CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER RED DUCATI 999 | eBay Any alternate recommendations. I want lighter clutch operations while still being able to find neutral when the engine is warmed up! With thanks G
Oberon works great on my '03 999s. Lighter action and a tasteful titanium look (but obviously it isn't titanium  ). Others will provide you with very suitable alternatives, I don't doubt.
Hi Garret I have an MPL on my 1098 and it works great, no problems, there are other alternatives but the Oberon seems to be the most common and gets a good reputation from the majority. I do recommend these slaves no matter which one you pick, lightens up the lever but also increases the pull for engagement (but not hugely). I like this as it also makes controlling the biting point easier John
i just had a jhp one fitted to my 996...haven't risen her yet so can't comment...hope to see/feel significant difference on the old wrist
I am feeling the same way...I want some comforts and since heated grips and bar risers are clearly out (!), I am going for the next best thing. Next year, stabilizers! G
I decided on the Oberon one over the others I looked at (Including the £160 odd quid DP one), because they come with a lifetime guarantee.....Yup its true check their website!
Just had one fitted to my ST4S. Great! Reduced effort and I can get neutral OK (easily if I change to neutral just before the bike comes to a full stop / rolling just a little). I wou:wink:ld recommend one!
I ordered one over winter for my 916 and its been great...no leaks, and really made a difference to the lever pressure. its easy to use 2 fingers to change gear, and holding the clutch in traffic doesnt make your hand ache. i can certainly recommend it..i just wish id gone for a more blingy colour though instead of grey...
