Ncr corse in italy avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!

Discussion in 'Dealer & Workshop reviews' started by hype, Sep 18, 2013.

  1. Well I thought it would be a good idea to fit an enlarged race radiator for my bike due to me doing just track days so I bought a radiator from NCR corse italy
I paid for my order and was told 4 weeks for the radiator but it was 10 weeks in the end after I forced the issue as my order was forgotten or not as it seems
the part arrived and I was impressed with how the parts looked
However this was the start of my problems the radiator was supplied with the wrong pipe work wrong expansion bottle and wrong fittings, I expressed this to NCR corse and they did not care the same goes for all the fittings and the expansion bottle they even had the front to send a second wrong bottle and no new pipes
the reason for this story is now ive had to have made a custom expansion tank made by OBP and have had made custom samco coolant hoses which has left me with a extra £500 bill when you have done 2k on Rad is quite anoying to say the least, so be warned avoid ncr at all costs or you will be out of pocket stick with uk suppliers or you will regret it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

  2. And you only do trackdays? More money than sense........?

  4. Well despite stating in my one and only thread that I don't really post on forums anymore I couldn't help myself on this one.

So ill be the first to back you up on this one and agree you should receive much better service when dealing with a premium company like NCR.The fact you have paid a premium price for a high spec part makes it even worse in my book as I can understand the morons that work at places like poundland not being arsed but NCR really. Is this what we should expect when spending 2k of hard earned cash.

I agree try and deal with UK companies in future if possible.I recently had a serious problem with my Dymag carbon single sided rear wheel. As they are a UK company it was easy to contact them and customer support has been fantastic.Should get my new set of wheels with revised hub from them in the next week or so.Nice to see this level of professional attitude in the motorbike aftermarket trade.

You have given the staff a chance to sort this out and they have failed so id go to the top and speak to owner of company.See what he has to say about the poor service and attitude of his staff. If he doesn't give a fuck post it up on all the Ducati /MV forums so we can avoid this company.

Might be better in future for UK ducati owners to speak to someone in the UK like Harris performance or go to UK specialists like JHP and they will order stuff from places like febur in Italy.Think they can also get NCR stuff. At least with UK agent you can speak to them face to face if there is a problem and they will sort it out.If not then other actions I cant state on public forum can be taken.

Hope you get the apology you are owed and right parts from NCR.If I was them id add a NCR sprocket carrier free of charge to make up for the embarrassment of there previous customer service.

  5. si potrebbe cambiare la moto in modo che corrisponda al radiatore ......

  6. As soon as you start buying race parts for a Ducati you're in a whole world of trouble. My usual rule is buy 1 part, and 3 more to make it fit. You'd cry if i told you the work involved in fitting bigger throttle bodies to my 996.
Now, it's forum first, buy later. I've not really got anything left to do now, but possible NCR trouble duly noted. Thanks.

  7. Strange they get it to fit ok in this video.Italians eh lol.

NCR Leggera - Ducati Hypermotard Customed & Tuned! - YouTube

Id buy parts from NCR if I lived nearby in Italy.Until then I will stick with UK companies or UK specialist dealers at least that can deal with these Italians on my behalf save me the hassle

  8. Matt no joy with the CEO of the company does not care well im getting it all sorted now thanks to Obp and Samco

  12. Seen its for sale I think..........

  13. I have seen it on the bay of E's!

Sweet looking machine though. I'd have been all over a set of BST carbon wheels rather than a fancy rad

  14. Did think about BST wheels but i wanted the nw200 look so I got these wheels instead
bike is up for sale so I can do another project !!!!!!!!!

  15. Nice bikes and glad you got it sorted in the end.I certainly wont be ordering any parts directly from this company.Shame as they make some nice radial fork bottoms and sprocket carriers, rearsets etc.

I guess if you go through UK agent you will pay more but if its wrong parts then you should get a refund as its not fit for purpose surely.

What the next project.Shame you don't see more interesting stuff like this on here.I usualy browse ducati ms for ducati project bikes.
