Is there much difference apart from the price!! between fitting a full system on the SF1098s ? as opposed to just fitting cans?? and is it plug and play with the ECU or is it a trip to the dealers to set up?? cheers Alan
you pay your money you takes your choice End cans (very cheap second hand), Zircotec coating and full custom remap here
Around £300 / £500 depending on finish for Zircotec - I picked up end cans second hand for about £350 Remap was special price by MR as part of the valve service - but I think they are around £500 for the full works - CJS come recommended to for this Carbon is matte finish from conquest carbon Done over 13k on it Love it
I just sold my Arrows for under £300, about to order the Spark underseat half system for a damn good deal. Fresco can do the full pipework in Titanium for £700....but they are not really exhaust specialists. Other full system option is Remus which I love the pipework of but not the end can. I think brand new the Termi's are way over priced Bit disappointing that the big guys like Akra, Arrow etc didn't bother with the SF, they just gave us some generic slip ons and charged ridiculous money
Would have to agree the streetfighter has a big following the big guys shoulod have made some decent exhausts, still love the look of the Termis and would agree they are way over priced.
I do have the Termi kit on mine, but I do have a soft spot for Akrapovic (although I've never priced them)
Akrapovic are about £800 for slip ons, Austin Racing can make you a pair of cans for £600. I just got my Spark system new for £800 (although retail is over £1k :tongue so yeah for slip ons they are way over priced A full Akra Evo system...now that would be awesome!
Looking for exhausts and seen these anyone know aif they are any good???? 2010 Ducati Street Fighter S FMF Apex Carbon Fiber Titanium Dual Slip On Exhaust | eBay
FMF are known for off road exhausts mainly. Someone in the US had these. Google images is your friend https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=d...wAw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=665#imgdii=_ Not to my taste personally and over priced. For about £500 you can get the Arrows if you are going for slip ons. Have a look at SC projects 2-1 which you can get direct from them for £500 also. Another one to look at are the Spark systems both very good companies that know what they are doing. (SC project and Spark supply teams in Moto2, Spark also make prototype systems for Ducati I believe) Have a look at the Streetfighter FAQ on Ducati.ms
Nice one mate forgot about google, will check out the other you've said love the termis just fink there way over priced, however you do get a race ecu in with them. cheers Alan
I look at a Ducati as style over price. Termis are synomonis and have a sound all there own. Mind you they are 102 with baffle and 109 without lol
