Hi guys. First i want to hello all to you. I have some basic question for you. I have 900ss i.e. workshop manuals, and i want to know if there is same specs for valve clearance as for my 750ss i.e. I also have original HYM 796 workshop manuals and there is quite different specs for valve clearance so i decide to ask if there is any difference for 750ss i.e. too. Becouse i didnt find any workshop manuals specific for this engine. If someone can tell me i measure : First cylinder : Intake Opening :0.08 mm Close: 0,04 mm Exhaust Opening: 0,02 mm Close: 0,1 mm Second cylinder : Intake Open:0,1 mm Close:0,03 mm Exhaust Open:0,02 mm Close:0,1 mm Could anyone please write me control values and also assembly values. Or if this values which i write them down are OK. Thanks guys
The Haynes manual has all the valve clearances in (checking and assembly) for the 750IE, the 900's are very slightly different on the exhaust rocker by the look of it. can scan the page and post it up if that's any good for you. Hello by the way ; ) Ian.
