Hi everybody, I'm now the proud owner of a new 1200 Multistrada Touring. I tried sooo hard to be objective about buying. I test rode BMW's, Triumph Explorers as well as the Multistrada before leaving it a week to think about it. However, my heart ruled my brain and it had to be the Multistrada! Just managed to get the first 600 mile service before I packed it up and headed for Le Mans MotoGP. It had only just clicked over 1000 miles before it rolled of it's side stand onto the floor of a French petrol station. And then to make things worse it started to rain! Bit of a black moment that. Is this a record for the lowest mileage before dropping it? Luckily not too much damage. Pannier lid, clutch & gear levers and seat unit. But on the upside my mates didn't laugh too loud and the racing was great. Being there when Rossi took Stoner in the MotoGP was pretty special.
Welcome to the forum, you'll be glad to know you're not alone MCN famously crashed a brand new multi and I have a mate who on the 1098 launch crashed it

Welcome, don't worry about the low mileage drop, I dropped my DL650 v-strom at 1 mph on the second day! Somebody locally to here dropped the Panigale on the test drive, beat that!
